FWIW, Mopars of Mass is a very active Facebook group. They typically have 25 or so cars show up for various events. It's predominately late model Chargers and Challengers but any Mopar is welcome.

Maybe it's time to hook up with them.

That group, and the NEMM Facebook group are both pretty active.

To Rick's point though- it would be a shame to lose touch with those not on social media.

It's pretty much like this all over. There used to be a lot of activity on the AMC forums. Now everyone goes to Facebook. I have to admit, I don't check forums like I used to. Jump on the computer, check email, Facebook, then back to whatever I was doing. It is sad.

I think Jeff was trying to be the leader of NEMMC, but not sure. I'd be happy to help out anyway I can. It's up to us, though, to keep this site going if we want the site to live.

Yeah, social media has pretty much taken over, from what I see. It's more of an old school crowd on the few forums I visit.

There's a Challenger Facebook group that is growing so fast that it has chapters in different states.

I think forums may be less popular than things like Facebook groups.

And unless someone is clearly the leader of NEMMC, sets the tone, and calls the shots, things will continue to flounder.

I tried but got too much resistance, when the so-called leader doesn`t even post here it`s hard to keep it going. I try to keep my FB page active but the pages that cater to the newer cars like NEMC nad Mopars of Mass seem to do a bit better. I agree it would be a shame to see this site completely die but unless something changes it probably will. I`ll bite my tongue now and try not to say anymore...

Raise the dead

I don't think Ryan ever claimed to be the leader, or that he wanted to be.

My understanding is he's the guy with the technical know how to run a forum, and that he's been generous enough to foot the bill for it too. I'm grateful for his generosity.

I think the root of the problem goes back to it being a group with no one calling the shots instead of a club that has a clear leader.

"I don't think Ryan ever claimed to be the leader, or that he wanted to be." After numerous talks with him that is not the feeling I got and a few others had similar "experiences" with him. I AM thankfull for his generosity for supporting the forum but as you say there needs to also be a leader here and my feeling is that is clearly not him as he obviously cannot dedicate any time to be here, never mind show up at any of the events we had. Mopar Day at NED was a suucess this year with a much better turnout than the past few due to a number of us ( a big thank you to all who helped! ) ignoring the negativity and getting the word out thru forums, FB pages and handing out flyers at cruises and shows. It showed that with a little effort it CAN BE DONE! I`ll shut up now as I`ve said too much again, not that anyone is listening , lol.

I don't feel like this is going anywhere positive, so I will be bowing out.
