Got ideas for the new forums? I want to hear them!

Postby Sneke_Eyez » Fri Apr 26, 2013 1:41 pm

Alright guys, I know the new forums aren't identical to the old ones in terms of topic.
I took some small liberties with them, and I'm completely open to changes, which can be made very easily.

So if there is something about the new forums that you don't like, please let me know and suggest changes!
I want your input!

Well I made it here.
The new member check in is a little confusing.
It appears as if your supposed to reply there but it has no reply button to be found anywhere.

I'd be in favor of a Mopar Models page. I'd even volunteer to moderate it.

I remember you mentioning that before, and I forgot all about it!
I'll add it in a few minutes... as for you becoming Moderator of it, I'm all for it as well!

Another forum I was considering was Photography. This could be photography of anything, and one of the main reasons I suggest it is because it seems that most car forums I belong to have a lot of aspiring (and better than aspiring) photographers, myself included. One of LHForums' most constantly updated threads is called "What's for dinner?" in the Photography section, which is better than some bunch of hipsters sharing sepia-toned pictures of food, its mostly pictures of seriously delicious looking cuts of meat, pasta dishes, breakfast food, and desserts, often with recipes floating around too, just in case you get inspired to cook. The forum itself also contains some great landscape shots, etc... Anyone have any interest in that?

I don't know about photography, but maybe something about people's other hobbies.

For example, I collect 80s skateboards. Has nothing to do with Mopars, although you can burly a Mopar skateboard through Mancini.

I suck at taking pictures so I'd be open to something that helps me take better pictures.
I'm too old to get into skateboarding! I gave up playing icehockey because my body doesn't recover as well as it used to.
We really don't need to add a ton of categories that will fit into a general discussion. ;)
Example: We don't need a cooking category. Someone can always just post a good recipe they have in general discussion.
