1968 Plymouth Fury II, 383 with 727 trans and posi rear. I have owned this car for approximately 12 years and shortly after I got it I had the engine rebuilt using a local engine shop for all the machine work. Seats were also redone at that time. Two years ago I had the rear seal replaced and the trans had a service done. I have the original manifold and 2 bbl carb for it also. I believe I am the second owner of the car and the first owner used the car for towing his camper. Frame and trunk are in very good condition although there is some sheet metal rust on the rear body. Since I had the motor rebuilt I have put less than 3000 miles on it. Gas tank, lines and fuel pump also replaced two years ago. I should be able to get it started but it has not been driven for two years and was only used a couple of hundred miles a year during the summer for the past few years. I am moving now and have other priorities. Asking 2000.00 or reasonable offer
Looks like it might be a good entry-level cruiser for $2k, especially if that 383 runs well. Even though he mentions rust, it actually looks pretty clean to me.
I've always been a big fan of the 68 style of Fury, so I like this car. Might even be a good candidate for a fresh coat of clearcoat to preserve the patina.
