1969 Dodge Super Bee - $6000 (Barre Mass)

Postby JBear » Thu Jan 30, 2014 8:56 pm

Found this one. http://worcester.craigslist.org/cto/4288093288.html

As much as I want an E body, this would be a fun one to bring back to life. I might have to go look at it.

It has a Coronet grille, or at least the Dodge emblem instead of a Bee. Wonder if it's real.

I know nothing about the Bee's. I just miss the sound and power of a V8.. :( The Dart is fun, and I love the ragtop, but the /6 just isn't me....

Honestly, and I'm not one to talk considering my ugly wagon, but I think that is a bit rich for that car. It supposedly is real, but with no title, no tags or sheets, and a whole lot of work needed to even make it complete, I just think that's a bit optimistic price-wise.

And that's definitely a Coronet grille and an automatic column. The Bee grille was always painted black.

Drop a 340 or 360 into it?

Considering that the 1969 Coronet is my all time favorite car, I can't argue with wanting one, but your Dart is so damn unique, where else do you ever see another drop top Dart?

Start with an offer at $2500.

BTW, the floor looks like a different shade than the body.

I'think I'm going to call this guy over the weekend to see if the car is under snow, or if I can go see it. I want to get the VIN, and take lots of pics to determine if it's real, and how much work it will need... I LOVE this stuff!

Heeeeeey.... I just sent him an e-mail myself! :) Not that I need a project like this, but at that price, you need to at least check it out.
