A couple more 74 Satellite finds

Postby MOPAR_AMC_FAN » Thu Nov 28, 2013 6:21 pm

I know these aren't everyone's style, but they're pretty reasonably priced and a good way to get into a Mopar on the cheap. The first one seems like a decent deal. There's a couple pics at the link:

1974 Plymouth Satellite - $1400 (SNH)

1974 Plymouth Satellite, had a 318 in it but took it out to work on, that was years ago. Bought a 440 for that needs work. The car has been sitting so the car needs work as well. Mopar fans, $1400.00 cash.

The second one is a little more, but still pretty cheap. Comes with a RoadRunner hood, too. Again, couple pics at the link:

1974 Plymouth Satellite - $2600 (Millbury, MA)

'74 Satellite in fair condition. Needs some body work. Runs and drives good. 318 3-speed automatic. New exhaust, radiator, springs, and brakes. Have all new seals for trunk, hood and windows. Has '74 Roadrunner hood on it but have original too. Sad to see her go but need the money.

And both of these guys have had these cars up for ages, so you should definitely be able to deal on them even from where they're at now.

PS: Brian, I PM'ed you back.

They would both be good cars to do up and enjoy for someone .

Look like good projects! I was never wild about those years either, until I bought my 74' Road Runner back in 98'. I was going to fix a few things on it and sell it, but it's looks grew on me and I enjoy driving it a lot!

Now that Jeff mentioned it, his RR does look cool. Maybe I'm thinking more of those bloated 70s Chargers. My brother had one that we called "The Ashtray."

Personally, I prefer the 71 and 72 body-style, but I don't mind the 73 and 74 look that much. If I could come up with the cash, I'd like to check out the first one that's $1,400. It looks like it originally had a vinyl roof and I like that look. I also have a 318 that's close to being ready to drop in. Hmm...

I hope that 318 is a stroker, you're going to need some torque to move one of those yatchs. I do like the 71-72 b-bodies a lot especially the 72's.
