Welcome to Northeast Mighty Mopar!

Postby Sneke_Eyez » Mon Sep 07, 2015 6:24 pm

Well, I know it took a while, but after giving up and consulting an expert, we've got our new and improved Northeast Mighty Mopar forum!

Welcome to it!

Soon, massmopar.net will redirect to northeastmightymopar.com and we will officially be a new forum!

Everything done on massmopar from the beginning through Friday, September 4, 2015 around 6:00PM has been flipped onto this forum, this includes all posts, photos attached via the forum and via tapatalk, etc.

You might notice that the forum looks just a bit different than the version of the software that was running on the old forum - we've updated to the newest version to "future-proof" things.

The only current issue I am having is with tapatalk - currently it needs to be reformatted to work properly with the new site, but I've got the phpbb expert on it and it should be taken care of in the next few days.

The forum header needs an updated image, it will very quickly change.

Sorry for all who waited and I look forward to the future of the site!

We need a logo!

Did we want to use what Jeff drew up?

Did we want to consult with a logo expert?

Something that will really grab you, not something static, like the old NEMMC logo.

I like the idea of the one I drew that is on the FB page as it keeps the same design of the old NEMMC logo but just a newer version (new Challenger) but I think a more "pro" looking one would be better and as someon suggested- to replace the `70 road runner with a `69 version to look like Ted`s would keep the Mass Mopar tie and Ted`s memory alive. Maybe a Hellcat version of the Challenger doing a burnout in the middle would be something to grab you?

I'm just fine with that, just need someone to design it.
There are some logo designers available through the website fiverr.com which is where I found the phpbb guy.

Anybody want to take on getting a logo created by one of them?

I don't mind collaborating with Torred. Just don't want to step on toes.

Something exciting that grabs the viewers attention would be good, IMO.

I don`t have any good photo programs on my computer and honestly not that good at it, just an amateur freehand artist so anyone who wants to take the idea and make it look more professional is fine with me.
