started to get a few things mocked up put the mid plate in boy its going to be tight no one said putting a BB Chrysler in a fox body would be easy but from what I can see it will fit dam thing going to look huge in this engine bay. also finish getting all the lettering off and my kids had some fun to. will need a truck oil pan there is only 12" from the pate to the cross member my engine uses a external pickup so I do not have to worry about a pick up tube. Next I will bolt up a stripped block in install the frt engine plate start getting everything lined up so I can weld the mounts for the plates.

440 with 528 440 source stroker kit should easily get me in the 10s as it is. In the 73 charger it was almost unsafe to drive on the street so in the light drag car it should be fun.
The tunnel ram looks cool but I will be running the 1090 king demon but I wouldn't put past me to try it to see how it compares
with a cam and heads swap 9s wouldn't be unreasonable

Well a big block truck pan is definitely a rear sump . If you need some measurements or pictures . I have my deep milodon pan on the shelf or if you can wait a couple of weeks , I'll be pulling my 440 out to do a lil tweaking and I can measure and take a few pictures of the 6 quart pan that's in it now . That's if that would help you out at all .

a measurement from the rear rail to the frt of sump on the milodon would help I will need extra volume with the pump I'm using and a flat side to drill for a external pickup.

About an inch from the outside edge of the bolt hole to the back of the pan .
