I am looking to trade in my daily driver Focus ST on a 15 Mustang Ecoboost Premium.

The new design really tickles my fancy and a 310HP turbo 4 that gets 30+ mpg is pretty nice. Plus with just a tune the car is in the 12's, add an exhaust, intake and drag radials the car is in the 11's.

Ugh, the new Mustang is horribly ugly.

I mean, looks are subjective, but I just think its a particularly bad looking car - its like Ford decided the Fusion needed a coupe version, they took all of the muscle and aggression out of it.
My hometown Ford shop has an Ecoboost Stang and I have looked it all over, up and down, and I just don't understand how anyone thinks that is nice styling.

I actually liked the last generation of Mustang a lot, and the Focus ST still turns my head every time I see one. :o

I guess beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. I think the car is gorgeous and much more aggressive looking with the fender bulges over the wheels than the previous gen car. I don't think there is anything Fusion looking about it. The upper and lower grill are all Mustang and the head lights are a huge improvement over the 12-14. Again the rear filler panel and tail lights are all Mustang and the air splitter below the bumper gives the back end a super car look.

The only thing they could do to improve the looks is to use the Shelby GT350 nose on the car.

I think with all the accolades the car is getting for its styling you are a minority.

(torredcuda wrote ; You can still technically beat him in a bracket race) You know I've been out of racing for so long I didn't even think of that and that is true . Let me ask you something . You seem to really have it out for this guy . Have you ever lined up next to him and if not then why ?

I've tried numerous times, but she's hell bent on a Camaro.

I've got three boys, only the youngest is into cars. unfortunately he loves mustangs, he was given a 1977 cobra ( real v8 4 speed car) and we are going to make a road racer out of it ( after the duster and my challenger are finished :D ) as far as the 528 in the fox body, go for it and get racing and piss off the ford guys. one thing you really should do though is paint a giant pentastar the hood, that will have them scratching there heads

Well I did it. Purchased a 2015 Mustang Ecoboost Premium, 6spd with the Performance Package (black 19" wheels, Brembo Brakes, Torsten Limited Slip, upgrade suspension, gauge pak ) in Competion Orange.

Looks like the pictures below (not my car, pick.it up Tuesday).

Really wish the Challenger could be purchased like this but you can't even get a 6spd with the v6. Ford is selling tunes for the Ecoboost engine that don't void the warranty and push the HP/torque to 370/400 and it will still get over 30 mpg on the highway. With a 400 LBS weight advantage over the Challenger it will out run a Challenger R/T and it cost me less than $30k.
