Weird New England weather

Postby 68383 » Sat Jan 11, 2014 4:41 pm

What's with the weather these days? I warmed up my car today and had to put on my windshield wipers to pull the car back in a few feet. The whole car was covered in condensation, and I didn't even have the car cover on it.

I know my tools and tool box are the same way, looks like I took a hose to them.

Paint cans, tool boxes, my vice, bikes... anything metal.

I try not to open the garage door on days like that. All the warm air hits the cold metal and you get instant condensation. I didn't open my doors yesterday and I still got some sweating in the garage. I think the only way to stop it is to heat the garage up before hand so all the metal is warmed up to equalize the temp's.

That's how it was before I even opened the doors!

I agree, mine are wet wether or not I open the doors. The only way around it is to heat the garage to take the moisture out of the air. It doesn't help that my garage is concrete block too.

Sounds like another project to plan for. Garage heat.

I opened the garage today. Took her out for 30 mins. Filled the gas tank and picked up some stuff at the store. She loves to go a little sideways for a long time with part throttle this time of year. Only live once right? Haha
