Mopar Muscle magazine

Postby 68383 » Sat Nov 23, 2013 9:35 am

I'm not so sure if Mopar Muscle is that muscular anymore. The current issue arrived this week. It seemed pretty light when I picked it up, so I went to the last page and saw it numbered as. 82.

After reading it (took about 10 minutes), I went to put it away with the previous ones I had read. For the heck of it, I pulled out one from 12 months ago. "I wonder how many pages it is?" The last page had "92" in the corner.

Then I pulled out one from 2011. It weighed in at 130 pages. So the 82 pager has gone on about a 37% diet program in just two short years. Too bad the subscription price didn't follow that trend.

Yep, I have only been a subscriber for a year and a half and even I've noted that it's getting thinner. It's really a shame, because I got a free subscription to Chevy high performance and super Chevy from a car buddy giving me crap, and both of those have upwards of 100 pages still. It's such a shame...

Some of the other mags I used to get aren't even around anymore.

The internet is killing newspapers & magazines. I used to subscribe to a bunch and now only get 1.

But will we be able to browse all the back issues of our favorite mags online in a few years?

Personally, J like being able to thumb through hard copies.

I just renewed my subscription after letting it lapse a few years. I only did it because I got a special offer of a $15.00 renewal. I noticed it is getting thinner, still my least favorite Mopar mag.
