Nice job cleaning up the ports. What size cam are you going with?

A cam spec'd to a stock HP340 cam. 454 lift/272 duration/110 lobe separation (Summit Cam SUM-K500052)

Yah Know , I just got to say it's nice seeing someone building a 318 . I find that there one of the most under rated engines out there . It look's like your taking your time and doing your research and putting some good parts in there and when your done I bet you'll have a good running as well as strong running car there . Keep up the good work . :D

I agree - They are looked down upon, but I've read what great engines that are, and there are so many around. I'm trying to take my time and do it right. Build a nice driver that sounds and runs good. I'm not look gin to drag race, just cruise around with a little more power that the 170cid slant six has.
