central Mass glass installer

Postby hard charger » Thu Mar 12, 2015 3:44 pm

Looking for a shop to put the front and back glass in my charger. Does anyone have a good shop they can recommend?

Worcester Area, (central Mass)

I've had work done at Guaranty Glass and Mirror in Spencer and they were pretty good guys. They don't specialize in antique auto glass though.

If you want an antique auto glass specialist, there's Tiny and Sons in Pembroke. I know that's far away, but they treated me fairly on installing a used windshield in my wagon.

thanks for the response Sneke_Eyze.

I have talked to Guaranty in Spencer. The guy who is experienced that runs the shop declined the job, guess he has enough easy work to keep him going. To bad it would have been convenient for me.

There is a shop in Auburn who is experienced with old cars and I have talked to him several times, He also has seen the car.

He has not called me back in 2 weeks for me to give him the job. I can't deal with that attitude. So I will move on.

If you're around Auburn, Tom's Auto Body put my windshield in. No complaints.

Sorry to hear that - didn't mean to pass along a recommendation that didn't pan out.
They did the front and rear windshield in my dad and I's 74 Dart and they did a good job.

I'm trying to think of other people who might do it in the area, but I'm fresh out of thoughts right now.

I'll call my dad on my lunch break and ask him if he can think of anyone.

I talked to a guy in Leominster, Central Glass. seems like they are comfortable with the old cars. they have agreed to take on the job but have not heard back on what day.

I spoke with guarantee before posting here. He was recommended to me by a local repair shop owner that lives near him.

I think I've heard of them before, but Leominster is kind of a haul from where I grew up in North Brookfield, so I never made it out there.

Good luck!
