To each their own, it`s his car and whatever he wants is fine but to some of us it just looks wrong, much like cowl hoods. I do paint some of my engines black for the same reason though, it is just easier as it hides the oil drips and you don`t have to clean it as much so I understand why.

In a perfect world, I would know my car color. But the world is imperfect... I can only do what I can do, and i'm cool with that. :-)

The parts cars is basically getting parts swapped 1 for 1. It will not be picked clean, and in some way is restorable.

When I am finished with the parts car I will post it up here, along with the running 400 engine.

Thanks Dudes

Hey, it`s your car so as long as you like it but for me there are so many cool Mopar style hood scoops that I could never put on a Chevy one!

Any questions just ask, I know a little about paint! Does you car have it`s fender tag or build sheet as those will tell you a lot of the options it came with and the paint code?

My car was originally Rallye Red. Not sure I want to go with that color... I guess I should have clarified my statement... I haven't decided on a color for the car. That is why we did the black engine bay.

Dropping off some Magnum 500 wheels tomorrow, going to see what kinda progress they got going on the old gal.
Its also my birthday, I am hoping they have it running when I should up. I don't care if it moves...just wanna rev the engine!

I was just looking at some pictures of your Cuda . I have to ask . Are those factory Mopar wheels on your car ? I only ask because I thought I saw the same ones on a few GM's this past summer . :D
