ATLAS 2 post lift - Greg Smith Equipment

Postby JBear » Fri Oct 11, 2013 7:45 am

Does anyone have any reviews of the ATLAS 2 post lift from Greg Smith Equipment? I looked at one last week in their showroom, looks good, especially for the price. Other forums have positive comments about them. Looking for feedback from my MOPAR friends.

Petty sure I'm buying on e this weekend.

Thx

Just did some quick reading on them and they seem to get good reviews and be reasonably priced!
I really want a 2 poster for the building my father and I just put up.
The problem is that we've already begun packing it with crap we don't have the space for, so having a lift in there will be tough.

Let me know what you think when you get it, being able to drive up there to NH to pick it up will be nice!

FWIW, I went back and forth between 2 and 4 posters and wound up with a 4. I havebto say I don't regretbit for a second. I have a trolly jack thst slides back and forth on the rsils to lift the front or back axle.
Best thing is the rails are a great place to place your tools.

I also went back and forth about 2 or 4 post. We discussed on the old forum. I went 2 post mostly for tire rotation, oil changing and brake work on all my vehicles. My buddy has a 4 post at his house if I ever need one; and now I know a Mopar friend that has one. :D

Working in a shop that has both if given a choice I'd go with a 2 post. I don't like the feeling of being caged when working on a vehicle.
4 post only major advantage is when you need vehicle to not have suspension hanging. Examples would be measuring driveshaft lengths, pinion angles, checking swaybar bushings is easier. ;)

Wish I had enough height in my garage for one of those.
