Here is one of a 71 Duster that I had for a bit. Maybe I will do a car at a time instead of all at once with these other cars that I owned.

The green Duster I picked up from a friend in 2006 for $500. He got it from a buddy of his who owns a repair shop. The person who owned it had work done to it but never came back to pay for it so I am told. Anyway it sat for a long time and I did a ton of work to it to get it road ready. I just cleaned the body up and did a few minor rust repairs. I drove it daily for a few years and then sold it. It was a good driving car and very reliable! I even drove it up MT Washington. I put those mag style Dodge hub caps on it that are in the last picture. I took them off when I sold it and put the stock caps on that are in the first two pic's. Oh yeah, it was a 225 Slant 6 with a auto trans.

Hello? Is this thing on? I hope someone reads this! Just kidding! ;) Here is a 74 Dart Sport I bought off of Craig's List back in I think 2007. It was a original California car with the original factory paint and stripe. It was powered by a slant/6. It had factory power disc brakes and big bolt pattern wheels. It had the small vinyl roof that a previous owner peeled off and painted the roof white. I paid $1500.00 for it. It ran really rough! I remember someone had attached the PCV valve hose to the carburetor float bowl vent instead of a vacuum source! Also the fuel filter was installed backwards! After diagnosing a couple of dead cylinders, I pulled the head off the motor only to discover some burnt valves and three cracked valve seats. I ended up just picking up another cylinder head from a buddy and installing new valve seals and lapping in the valves. Man did the car run awesome after the repairs! The Magnum 500 wheels were missing the center caps, but I found a NOS set on Craig's List for $40.00 bucks! The interior was in good condition, I just replaced the dash pad. It also had the fold down rear seat. I used it as a 3 season daily driver until I sold it in 2009. We drove it all over the place.

I love it. Always wanted a three season car like that but it always seemed hard to find one in decent shape for a reasonable price. I now have one but it's not a Mopar unfortunately

You know, I miss the days of affordable A bodies! You could pick up Slant 6 and 318 cars for such reasonable money all over the place! The big C bodies were bargains at one time too! I am glad I got to at least buy them and drive them when they were affordable. I couldn't afford to own what I have now if I didn't buy them years ago! More pic's and stories to come! I wish there was more participation on this site! :(
